Help with filming clips, reading scores, following plans, managing your subscription and deleting your data in the Caden running form app.
Filming problems
"Caden said it could not find a runner in the clip." The most common causes are a clip shorter than 5 seconds or longer than 20, the runner filling less than a third of the frame, or strong backlight. Stand 6 to 8 metres from the camera, keep the phone at hip height, and film with the sun behind the phone. See how to film yourself running.
"My score changed a lot between two clips." Caden only compares runs filmed the same way: same view, same running direction, same analysis version, and a similar pace. A treadmill belt changes most people's stride too, so do not mix treadmill and outdoor clips in a comparison. Film the same way each time.
"I only have a treadmill." That works. Film side-on, with the phone on a bench or tripod level with your hips.
Scores and metrics
Each metric page in the app explains what was measured and what a 2D camera cannot see. A low score on one metric is a place to start, not a diagnosis.
Plans
Plans run 4 or 8 weeks with three short sessions a week, built from your lowest metrics and your session-time preference. You can repeat a session, skip a day, or start a new plan after any re-analysis. Ad-hoc analyses do not reset your active plan.
Subscriptions and refunds
Manage or cancel under iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting your data
To remove one analysis: hold its row on the Home tab and choose Delete analysis. The clip, frames, measurements and score are removed from your account and cannot be recovered.
To delete your whole account, email hello@caden.app and we remove everything stored under it.
